EP46 - So What's Been Happening? - Joyce Prescher
Carefully crafted lyrics, haunting melodies and rich velvety vocals, Joyce Prescher takes you back to days long gone. Her words delivered with such honesty and melancholy, you cannot help but be roped in and left mesmerised. One easily picks up on her love of seventies folk music yet is left wondering just who she reminds you of. But never mind. If you didn’t feel anything yet, she is sure to make you feel things. Her songs deeply introspective, exploring hardship and distance, mortality and love. Best listened to wrapped in a warm blanket, with candles lit and perhaps a fireplace close by. Sit back, immerse yourself and enjoy the ride.

EP45 - So What's Been Happening? - Matt Joe Gow
Very few artists wield so much charisma that they can sell you just about anything before you’ve realised what’s happened. Matt Joe Gow has the charisma to be one of those artists – but he isn’t. Matt prefers to concentrate on the conviction. You don’t have to listen to more than thirty seconds of Matt’s debut 'The Messenger' or new album 'Seven Years to appreciate that. And that voice. Rich, resonant. A baritone cloak of many shades and shadows. A songwriter whose swagger has taken him from the dusty influences of Townes Van Zandt, Ryan Adams and others, to the swirling urban chime of electric, ambient pop . . . and back again.
"Matt's voice has an engaged emotional sounds and that's alot of what its all about in my view" Steve Young
